Jim Driscoll for Sheriff

I am running for re-election as Sheriff of Coconino County in the 2020 elections. I am committed to ensuring professional and quality law enforcement to the people and communities of Coconino County through Experience, Leadership, and Service to Community.

I hope you will consider my qualifications and commitment to the people of Coconino County and support me to continue serving as your Sheriff.

Coconino County is a place I know and love. I grew up in Flagstaff, graduated from Northern Arizona University, and spent my career serving the communities throughout Northern Arizona.

My 35 years as a peace officer include 12 years as Chief Deputy and 4 years as Sheriff. In addition, I served as Coconino County Emergency Manager for seven years and as interim Chief of Police for the City of Sedona.

I am a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Flagstaff Leadership Program, International Association of Chiefs of Police Leadership in Police Organizations, and the Executive Leaders Program of the Naval Postgraduate School / Center for Homeland Security. I was honored to be named Citizen of the Year in 2003 by the Arizona Daily Sun.

Throughout my career, I have promoted and helped develop partnerships, programs & services to create safer communities and provide professional public safety services to our citizens. I will build on my successes and seek opportunities for improvements. I will work to keep our life and communities safe and create opportunities for youth and adults alike to improve the quality of safety in our communities.

Thank you to everyone for your support during the primary election. Your continued support and outreach to voters is still needed as we move forward to win the November 3, 2020 election.

With heartfelt thanks,

Jim Driscoll
